The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to educate, inspire and encourage our parish community to become fully engaged through faith-filled prayer, service and sharing.

We believe that if someone feels connected to the parish that it helps them feel connected to God. This is often done by sharing their gifts and God-given talents with our parish and with the community. We develop plans around three basic areas of stewardship: Service (our talents), Sharing (Financial) and Prayer.

Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee's objective is to actively pursue ways to foster an environment that will insure all parishioners and visitors are and feel truly welcome at St. John the Baptist Parish. Along with current parish members, we actively invite new parishioners to become engaged in parish life soon after registering. We hold semi-annual pot luck dinners to acquaint new parishioners with parish leadership and meet others through one-on-one invitation. We promote fellowship through introduction to various ministries by way of Coffee and Roll Sundays hosted by members of a different ministry throughout the year. Our motto that we strive for is; "All are welcome in this Holy Place to worship, to deepen our faith and to mature into a community of solidarity and discipleship".

Parish Picnic

We need people willing to chair a committee or work on a committee. We also need people to set up, work a booth, and help clean up. The committee meets monthly. Time involved depends of what you sign up for.
